Club InformationWelcome to the Member Information page of the Music City Brewers, Nashville's Homebrewing Club. We were formed in the spring of 1996, driven mainly by the lack of a homebrew community in Nashville. Today, we have over 90 members ranging from beginning extract brewers to advanced all-grain brewers as well as a number of BJCP judges, both men and women, and we are growing at a rate of five to ten brewers per month. (You can take classes as a club member and take the test and become a Nationally Certified Beer Judge yourself.) |

Our club meets once a month on the second Saturday of each month, click the Events link for time and location. If you are interested in the club, you don't need to be a member or have an invitation to come to a meeting and check it out, but the price is cheap and does save you a lot of money in discounts, so why hold back? Still not convinced? Read on. We have several "special events" every year, including a Christmas party, summertime picnic, canoe trips, an annual competition and several "brew-days" where many members brew together. Guests are always welcome at meetings and club functions and naturally, everyone is encouraged to bring homebrew. Women are welcome and encouraged to participate, and if it would make you ladies more comfortable to brew with women, there is a group of women in the club that brew together. Many of us gather on Wednesday night at BOSCOS in Hillsboro Village for Our Weekly Cask. It is an informal tradition, where any one can talk to club members, and where finding someone to brew with is as simple as asking who's brewing. If you don't see us one Wednesday, you will probably find us the next. So what are you waiting for? Sign up now and enjoy your first discount beer, compliments of Boscos Nashville Brewery! Don't forget to tell all your friends that you found a beer club where they can learn how to brew world class beer! |
